Information about the event

On Sunday, March 23, 2025, the prestigious Best Jeune Chef Rôtisseur of Belgium competition will take place on the VIVES University College campus in Bruges. The winner will have the honor of representing Belgium at the international Chaîne des Rôtisseurs competition, a major event that brings together the most promising young culinary talents from around the world.  

 

This unique competition offers young chefs under the age of 27 the opportunity to showcase their skills, creativity, and passion for gastronomy in an inspiring and competitive environment. The concept revolves around a "Black Box" challenge: participants receive a mystery box of ingredients and must craft a refined three-course menu within a limited time. Their creations will be judged on taste, presentation, technique, hygiene, and organization.  

 

But that's not all! On the same day, March 23, 2025, the Jeune Sommeliers competition will also take place at the VIVES campus in Bruges. This thrilling event will be broadcast live on a big screen from 1:00 PM onwards, allowing the audience to follow the competition in real-time.

Purpose & Organizers

The Chaîne des Rôtisseurs organizes exclusive culinary events, ranging from gala and themed dinners to gastronomic competitions and tastings. Each event is carefully curated to provide members with a unique culinary experience.

Event organization takes place at different levels. The international board sets global guidelines and oversees major competitions and congresses. At the national and regional levels, Bailliages (country and regional chapters) lead the events, supported by officials such as the Bailli (president), Échanson (wine expert), and Conseiller Culinaire (culinary advisor). They collaborate with top chefs, sommeliers, and exclusive venues to create high-quality gastronomic experiences.

Additionally, the Chaîne hosts competitions such as the Jeunes Chefs Rôtisseurs and the Jeunes Sommeliers Competition, where young talent is mentored and evaluated by experienced professionals.

Thanks to this structured approach, the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs offers a unique blend of tradition, innovation, and exclusivity in the world of gastronomy.
